Pole position
Your pocket-sized ski coach
Pole Position is THE „pocket-sized ski coach“ for every skier who wants to be more than just a skier. Lightweight, easy to carry and simple to use. The flexible strap is a great training tool, no prior knowledge is required and it is easy to use for every private skier.
Pole position, a problem solver!
Pole Position can be used as a training tool in all ski disciplines, from slalom and ski cross to freeride. Every team, club or individual skier uses Pole Position to improve in the following key areas:
1. basics
Pole Position supports the skier by helping to find the centre position more easily and maintain it throughout the entire descent. It also minimises mistakes, supports the position on the skis and trains muscle memory for the centre position.
2. visual focus
The colour orange attracts the attention of both skiers and trainers. The skier becomes more attentive and focusses on the exercises. The coach has the advantage of being able to recognise mistakes more easily and therefore correct them more easily.
3. hip
By keeping the pole position parallel to the hip axis, the hip position is better, a faster weight change and improved edge grip are possible. Simply faster skiing with better control. Alpine skiing behaviour is trained.
4th shoulder
Pole position prevents large shoulder movements and rotations, making the descent more controlled. It also results in a better rhythm and, of course, a better position on the skis.
5. upper body tension
The skier skis with the belt fully extended for a longer period of time, which trains the muscles in the arms and torso. The upper body remains calm and stable.
Attach the pole position strap to the poles in such a way that the strap cannot slip down. Attach the strap directly below the handle. Make the adjustment so that the arms are in a „normal“, neutral and comfortable position. Always keep the pole position strap slightly taut when riding.
